A sculptural manifestation of VONTLEU, composed of more than fifteen thousand gold-plated screws. The work transforms disorder into form, turning industrial fragments into an object of divine presence and quiet tension.
Each screw represents a thought, a flaw, a memory — tightly bound yet on the edge of unraveling. The polished gold suggests perfection, but the sphere vibrates with the possibility of collapse. VONTLEU’s button-eyes stare back, questioning what holds us together… and what happens when we let go.
“Losing a Screw” celebrates the liberation within imperfection. To evolve, we must allow a piece to fall away — and discover the truth revealed beneath reconstruction.
